Patient perceptions about treatment of venous leg ulcer and their relationships with adherence and health-related quality of life: a qualitative interview study. Venous ulceration is a common and costly morbidity associated with older age. Optimal wound care affects healing, decreases pain and makes ulcers less visible, but is associated with poor treatment adherence in many patients. Adherence may improve patients' health-related quality of life, and, therefore, improved treatment adherence may lead to better treatment outcomes. We evaluated patients' perceptions and experiences about the treatment of venous leg ulcers (VLUs) and their relationships with adherence and health-related quality of life. A qualitative interview study. We conducted semi-structured interviews with 20 patients from two outpatient, wound care clinics in the USA. Data were analysed using constant comparative analysis and included in a qualitative research database (QSR NVivo9). Participants' perceptions of the adequacy of care they have received for VLUs was highly influenced by the overall quality of their lives. Providing satisfaction with pain relief and wound care processes were also identified as facilitators of treatment adherence. Participants were concerned about wound healing and reported that inadequate wound care was more common than appropriate wound care. They described their concerns around effective pain management, information exchange, and adhering to treatments during ulcer healing. Older adults with VLUs should be provided with information to help promote the appropriate care and treatment of their ulcers. Our findings can be used to inform the development of interventions that will help providers gain access to this group of older patients with VLUs and improve their outcomes.Your Story in Pop Your Story in Pop is the fifth studio album by indie pop band Speedy Ortiz. Q: Android Studio Keyboard Shortcuts for navigating and opening files Android Studio does not have the good keyboard shortcuts that Visual Studio does, like CTRL+9 or CTRL+K, CTRL+T, or CTRL+Z to navigate up and down in the project tree. Are there any shortcuts to navigate and open files in Android Studio? A: Preferences > Keymap gives you a list of existing key mappings, you can add custom ones to the "Other" section. Don't believe everything Google says, you can use what you like 🙂 Q: In Swift, why does UIViewController have a init(_ view: ViewController) and how does it differ from init(nibName:bundle:)? This isn't a duplicate of UIViewController in Swift, but if it was the question was closed as unclear rather than duplicate. Why is it that Apple's documentation on UIViewController explains that there is a init(nibName:bundle:) and also a init(_ view: ViewController)? And what is the difference between these two calls? As far as I can see the purpose is the same with the only difference being that the first method will unwrap the ViewController if it is nil. The specific question would be why does the documentation show both with what appears to be the same purpose and if there is any difference between the two. A: The questions you've stated are essentially answers to why, and the difference between the two - we've already touched on that in the comments to your question. I'll be verbose here - both have the same purpose. First, the docs for init(_ view: ViewController), which is the preferred way to instantiate UIViewController: @noescape init(nibName nibNameOrNil: String?, bundle nibBundleOrNil: NSBundle?) Just putting that first allows you to specify a nib with the specified name; or if you pass nil, it will use the default nib. What's important to note is that you can still declare an initialiser like so: init(view: ViewController) {... } and if you want to access a view property of the ViewController passed to it, you just do so the way you would expect - I've done so in the linked example below (and it
