For some people, Photoshop can be intimidating and cumbersome. That’s where Photoshop Elements comes in. The software is designed to help you create cool graphics in a simple fashion. You can expect a lot of tutorials on YouTube and Reddit about the software, so we’re just going to talk about things you can do in Photoshop Elements without knowing how to use Photoshop. 1. Change the background color to black All of us have more than one thing to do in a day. Often we spend hours trying to find an image or clip for a new blog post. If your brain is getting tired from one task after the next, then it can be easy to forget to give an image a black background. When you’re looking for images, make sure to always check out the original image, not what it has on its background. This tutorial will help you do exactly that. While looking for an image to use for a project, you can take a look at the original image. It’s easy to do, as you don’t have to download the image. Since you can check out the original image, you don’t have to get the image to convert it to black. If you don’t want to do it that way, follow this tutorial to convert all images in Photoshop Elements to black. Image credit: Lanny 2. Scientists tie the accelerating spread of antibiotic resistance to climate change, but experts say there is 'vast uncertainty' about the effect of climate change on drug resistance. Scientists have tied rising antibiotic resistance rates to climate change, but not everyone is convinced that we'll be paying the cost of Earth's warming in the here and now. The study's authors suggest we see a rapid increase in drug resistant organisms by 2050, driven by climate change, which could lead to even higher antibiotic resistance rates than have already been observed in recent years. "There's a huge possibility that the next decade will be disastrous. We could see a rapid increase in resistance and uncontrolled disease, and without appropriate treatment, we could see the next major global pandemic," said the study's lead author, Dr. Kelly Lambert. In their new study, Lambert and colleagues from the Institute of Immunology and Infectious Diseases and the Center for Infection and Immunity at the University of Texas at Austin, analyzed data on antibiotic resistance trends and temperatures from more than 50 countries. They found that higher temperatures and rainfall increased the number of resistant organisms and drug-resistant illnesses, while lower temperatures reduced the number of drug-resistant organisms and drug-resistant illnesses. When the researchers factored in the number of people at risk for infection, along with the number of days the weather was hot and humid, they found that climate change is likely to lead to an increased spread of drug-resistant organisms by 2050. They estimate that more than 2.5 million additional cases of drug-resistant infections and more than 9,000 deaths due to infectious diseases could be expected each year by 2050, if climate change is not mitigated. In the U.S., they estimate that an additional $34 billion in health care costs and 2.5 million antibiotic prescriptions could be issued annually in the country by 2050, as fewer cases of drug-resistant infections are treated successfully. "This study shows that climate change is influencing the frequency and distribution of drug-resistant bacteria in ways that threaten the effectiveness of antimicrobial drugs used to treat and prevent infections," Lambert said in a statement. The study was published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. There is "vast uncertainty" in whether the study's findings will translate to actual medical outcomes, said Eileen Favier, an expert on climate change and antibiotic use at the University of Ottawa in Canada. "Antibiotic resistance is a reality

Q: Plone and Python Security - How can I use Plone from my machine (with username and password)? I would like to develop a Plone site with Plone and Python but it seems that it's difficult to install Plone from the repositories. So I would like to install Plone manually and to get my user's machine (from my own /home). Please take a look at this question: How do I use Plone? It's not clear for me how to do the installation. It seems that Plone is actually run from my own machine (which is not a good practice). So how can I get my /home (username, password) from a running Plone? I am not looking for a complete tutorial as asked in several questions. It seems that the option "-w plone" is actually a binary to create a site with Plone 4.0 (it does not start Plone). So I would like to know the binary name and how to get my username and password with it. It's really more an issue of Python security but I'm not familiar with Python. In the "command line", we have the "-w" option for instance (that change the working directory for the command line). I would like to do the same thing but from my Plone site or from a Python script. Is there something to do that? Thanks. A: If you want to use python scripts/site to develop a Plone site, it means that you want to develop the whole site. Therefore, the Plone Site service is running with a special account : plone - the plone user. So if you want to use the Plone Service and Python tools, the following options are available : Plone is installed in the Plone/examples folder, so you must either update the /etc/default/plone and override the PLONE_HOST to use the folder of the Plone installation (in that case, you must change the /etc/init.d/plone script to point to your Plone/examples/bin/zc.sh), or override the PLONE_ADMINS to use the hosts list of the service account (assuming the python tools are located under /usr/share/plone/tools/python). Anyway, for a Plone 4 site development, it means you'll manage the services
